Reading, PA – July 30th, 2008– The Reading Railers are pleased to announce their participation in an upcoming golf tournament held by the Berks Basketball Old Timers.
The Old Timers organization exists in order to keep the history of Berks County Basketball alive, as well as embrace the current state of the game at the same time. It only makes perfect sense for the city’s professional team to work together with this organization in order to spread their love of the game throughout the county.
The golf tournament will be held on Friday, August 8th. The Railers have donated ticket vouchers for the participants. The team will also be sponsoring a green, which will be indicated with a sign with the team’s logo emblazoned on it.
