Biography:
Head Coach Sal Mentesana
Coach Mentesana began his coaching career at Notre Dame High School in Easton, PA, where he was the head coach. He led them to the first District XI Boys Basketball Championship in the history of the program. After spending four years as an assistant coach at both Lehigh University and The College of William and Mary, Mentesana became the head coach at East Stroudsburg University, where he remained for almost a decade. In 1990, he led ESU to their only Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship. The PSAC championship helped cement his selection as Coach of the Year for the PSAC Eastern Division. |
